[Fosc] restoration and ecology classes at Merritt this spring

Classes of interest to creek folks  --   “Wildlife and Watershed
Restoration Gardening”, “Intro to Outdoor Education, Ranger Naturalist”,
and “Ecology, Culture and Stewardship of California Landscapes” will be
offered this spring at Merritt College.

The Wildlife Gardening class (ENVMT 41) will cover planning and
implementing a creek side, park, or backyard landscaping project to create
a refuge for wildlife. “Intro to Outdoor Education” (ENVMT 8) provides an
overview of nature/culture interpretation and education; and “Ecology,
Culture and Stewardship of California Landscapes” (ENVMT 42) gives an
introduction to ecological restoration and the relationships of people to
